Dear Kent,

Thank you for sharing the Code of the West and your own personal code with us at the Wyoming DARE and Wyoming School Resource Officer training recently held in Torrington, WY.  It is time that we get back to the morals and values of our forefathers.  As a Peace Officer for the State of Wyoming, I,  Stand Tall, to carry out my own personal code and to become the best roll model for our youth, and community.  Thank you for lighting that spark, which at sometimes becomes dim.  I will find ways to put my principles into action.

Best of luck to you in your endeavors with the Cowboy Ethics and Leadership Program.

Yours truly,

Standing Tall

A huge thanks to Kent, the UW College of Business, the Center for Cowboy Ethics and Leadership, and Jim Owen for sharing with us a positive, meaningful program! The process compels me to act as a steward of the values, attitudes and behaviors that safeguard the Wyoming way of life. Keeping the Code of the West and my personal code in mind, I will do my utmost to make certain that this state is and remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family!

Standing Tall

I have done

  1. Attend a “Standing Tall” session (obviously, you have already completed this requirement).
  1. Sign the “Standing Tall” certificate you received upon completing the course.  As you will remember, this document includes a pledge to:  a) live your code each day; b) find tangible ways to put your principles into action; c) be a role model for principled leadership; and d) select and address a specific social need in your community.
  1. Display your “Standing Tall” certificate.

feedback

I thought this program is invaluable!

Everyone really needs to take this course, and their children and grandchildren!

Honestly I cannot wait to fine tune my principles, add them to my email signature and share them with the rest of the world!

The program made me more aware and conscious of trying to live these principles and ethics and I appreciate that very much!

This program could change the world~!

Standing Tall Seminar feedback

Hello Kent,
Thank you for sharing the code with us.  My education background is all from the College of Business.  It is very nice to get the information you shared in a business class format.  This class was the easiest I have taken because of the code's relationship to the business community.
Once again,
Thanks

Standing Tall Program

Thanks Kent for putting on such a great program.  Strong ethical values seem to be a thing of the past.  This program will help to get us all back on the right track.  Thank you.

Training

Absolutely thought this was one of the better ethics classes I have attended.  Wish it would have been an 8 hour class instead of just the afternon.

Thanks!!
